Jerry Wallace was born in Guildford, Missouri on December 15, 1928,
and grew up in Glendale, Arizona.

In 1958 “How The Time Flies” landed in the top ten of Hit Parade and
the following year “Primrose Lane” was a top five million seller.
 
Among his more than forty-five chart successes on both the pop and country
music Hit Parade was “There She Goes” in 1960, “Shutters And Boards”
in 1962, “In The Misty Moonlight” in 1964, “Life’s Gone And Slipped Away”
in 1965, “This One’s On The House” in 1967, “Sweet Child of Sunshine”
in 1968 and his #1 country hit, “If You Leave Me Tonight I’ll Cry” in
1972. That same year, Jerry Wallace was nominated for the Country
Music Association Award as Male Vocalist of the Year with his
“To Get To You” nominated as Single of the Year. It stayed on the
Hit Parade for 22 consecutive weeks. The following year, “Do You Know
What It’s Like To Be Lonesome” peaked at #2 and in 1973 his streak
of country hits continued with a #3 success, “Don’t Give Up On Me.”

Among Jerry Wallace’s other hits, were “Guess Who” and “My Wife’s House”
in 1974. “I Miss You Already” in 1977 and “At The End Of A Rainbow” in 1978.
